Looking for some suggestions about what to make with this lot.

I have in stock:

Marris Otter
Extra Dark Crystal
Aromatic Malt
Amber Malt

As well as some chocolate and black malt

Yeast wise I have SO4, US05 and T58.

Hopwise, lots of fuggles and goldings and various high alphas.

Any suggestions welcome! Particularly around the aromatic as have never used it before.

Assuming T58 will suffice, I'm thinking along the lines of

5kg Motter
350g Extra Dark Crystal
125g Aromatic (I have no idea how much of this to use!)
50g Chocolate
50g Amber
200g Rolled oats
Some sugar?

50g Fuggles for 90 mins

What say thee O Forum?

hi , i've just googled t58 and yes it would seem that's an excellent yeast for a belgian , i would use around 200g Aromatic and ditch the chocolate malt but thats just me , aim for an abv of around 6 to 7% and i would also use goldings rather than fuggles but again that's just me , good luck with it

85% Maris Otter
10% Aromatic
5% Dark Crystal
40 IBU using Goldings with half of that coming from the last 5 minutes.
Dry hop with either remaining Goldings or use the fuggles
Needs to start about 1050 so it will end up about 5%
Use the US-05
It will be lovely!

Is it Dingemans Aromatic? If so it will work well at 10%. The dark Crystal will add a slight dark toffee sweetness but not to much at 5% and using US-05
