Started an oatmeal stout on Tuesday evening, by yesterday afternoon the lid had popped off and foam was dripping down the sides of the fv. Luckily I caught it in time and got some sheeting under it before it made a mess on the floor. Should I leave it or transfer to another fv so that I can tidy up the mess.

Cheers

Thanks GA. I'll leave it while longer and then transfer. Little bit worse than the first pic but not as bad as the second. It was your version of Alemans effin oatmeal stout which you posted a while ago. Smells great. I think its gonna be a goodun.

The second picture is of its heavier fruity cousin Elizium elderberry stout :thumb: :thumb: I over pitched some very hungry yeast.
