What Post Size for Corny Kegs?

I'm pretty sure there is probably more than me has both a Fermzilla and Corny Kegs.

I got my Corny Kegs delivered yesterday and my Ball Lock disconnects don't appear to fit.
I've got 5/16 Gas 1/4 Liquid disconnects which fit the Fermzilla just fine.

Any ideas?

Are you saying the disconnects don’t fit on the posts? Ball lock posts and disconnects should be universal.

Might be worth putting some silicone grease on the o rings on the posts as sometimes they get a bit sticky.

Also metal disconnects can expand and contract with temperature - try putting a cold metal disconnect on a warm keg post and it can be too tight.

I'll try it. I've got some brand new O rings to fit.
It just seems like it's far too tight.

I mean, don't get me wrong, on the Fermzilla, they're very, very tight, which is what I'd expect. But these are ridiculously so.

Do you have two o-rings on your posts? Two of my kegs have posts with double o-rings and they are the disconnects are a really really tight fit.

OK, so answer is.... they're a ridiculously tight fit. Needed a rubber mallet to get them to sit right.
And yes, I've replaced the O rings now on all the posts (and the insides).

Just ordered some lube, mind.

Can anyone suggest what psi these need to be kept at? I believe they need to be kept under pressure.

Kegs only need to be kept under pressure when full unless you want to test for leaks.

How much force is needed to remove the then ?? Some of mine can be a bit of a pain but you shouldn't need to resort to hammers !

It was a rubber mallet and didn't need much force.
They're brand new and they appear to come off much easier than they go on!

I use the Dr Hans carbonation calculator.
Then for serving I normally set to about 10 PSI but you may need to reduce that depending on your beer line and tap setup.
