Like most of us I have long lived by the simple belief that what is best in life is to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. However, the responsibilities of life have inevitably matured me and I came to a startling new revelation today. Finally it has become clear that a true sense of fulfilment and inner peace is the result of seeing vigorous fermentation taking place in both brews that I made this weekend (Youngs American IPA and my Australian Monster). Can anything beat the proud feeling of seeing your yeasty host multiplying and busy at their work the day after pitching?
