Flowers IPA. That was in the early 90s. Had a lovely bouquet, as I believe it's referred to

When I first started going out, after a few first times out the way we used to have pints of diesel (snakebite and a dash of blackcurrent if you didn't know)

used to look like this

Ah,, snakebite and black. That takes me back. Evil stuff :)

Vaguely remember drinking newkue brown, kestrel super strength which tasted like it had stripoed the inside of the can and a couple of others like that, Tennant's super, carlsberg special brew or something like that.

And alcopops just started in the early 90s so Thunderbirds, 20/20, hooch.

Stupidity of youth.

There was a cheap nasty cidser too... White lightning.

White lighting and diamond white always were the drinks kids used to get and drink in the park, although I actually thanksfully skipped that stage out.,.

I never really drank it much at all but does anyone remember tennants super or crest.. absolute rank bitter and alocholic falvoured:sick:

Before I discovered beer properly I used to drink Stella Artois and Kronenburg and sometimes Tkysie.. I must admit every now and then I am aprtial to a nice crisp lager still although compared to when I first starting drinking drinks like Stella really have gone downhill..

Anyone else remember these buggers?
You could put it in the fridge for two days and it'd still go off like old faithful when you opened it.

I have heard of them, but being born in 81 they were long gone before I knew anything..

What were they 7 pints in a tin can?? how odd

They were still around in the v. early 80's actually. That's when I started supping beer. They probably got phased out '82, summat like that.
Yeah 7 pints, a Party 4 was available too.
An absolute 'mare to open. No ringpulls of course. Many a kitchen or living room got a dousing. Used to be common practice to open the bleeders outside.

Yep, me too. Looked the same when it inevitably came back up again too.
