The 2nd of 3 Christmas light switch on events was cancelled tomorrow.

Yaaaaaaassssssss!!!!!1!

After several pints of Bitter, it's time for something a bit more robust.

I love Biscoff/speculaas and this completely gets the brief.

No head retention and some floaters, but **** me. It's not beer-flavoured beer, but it's incredible.

Not sure why you like speculaas ?
Seen them used when my wife was having issues with her pregnancy and it wasn’t nice. 😱
Biscoffs nice though.

I give up on them all the time and then see something that piques my interest so “forget” how bad they can be. Then buy it at £4 a can and get reminded why I don’t buy them anymore. The mcewans champion was less than £2 a bottle and far superior.
Yes it is along with pretty much everything else in a bottle. The cans are more and more the same, and artificial.

Ah...The Old Snickleway Inn! I no doubt shall visit in 3 weeks time...and The Bluebell,Market Cat,Olde Starre,Guy Fawkes,Punch Bowl...
Don't forget Pivni and House of the trembling madness, ideally the small one on stonegate. The large one on lendal has new owners who have changed a few things.... boooo

Had a mcewans champion now this nice little number. Imperial at 6.6% might be pushing it though View attachment 106015
This seems to be basically original Hobgoblin which started at 6.5% then dropped to 5.6% which was the version I first tried and was rather nice, it’s now down to 5% in bottle 4.5% in can.
