Started with a Steam Ale, onto Foxie's India Pale Ale, and a go-to-bed drink of Baltic Porter, I did have two.

Hopefully the last stage of my Coopers yeast build.

No, I missed that. I did meet the Chef from the Yellow Door earlier this year and we talked about baking and bread.
He didn’t offer me any tips or free starter but!

I can't remember what the occasion was, national bread day or some such event, but they gave it away to anyone that wanted it. You can have some of ours if you want it although we have been feeding it for about a year so it will have change a wee bit from the Yellow Door version.

I have some proper research beers today :

Fullers ESB. Never knowingly had this before, I get green apple from it which I don’t enjoy, overall find it cloying. Not for me.

Good chemistry “Extra special” from the Malt Miller. Overall impression is of a porter with dry finish. It’s 48 ibu apparently but I wouldn’t have guessed. I like it overall, but is it even esb?
