It's the first time I've been able to get hold of them so I've bought a load to keep me going

Just back from our local in Wales after a couple of Clun Valley beers. Now a cool one.This is from Aldi and superior to Reinbacher which is now diluted.

In the past its only my local indie specialist who has stocked them, great to see some more widely available.

I'm hoping Lost & Grounded's Festbier will be available soon. That should be spot on.

To be fair Norman I went to an online shop to get them, I've no idea who else sells them to be honest. This shop sold the ones I wanted so I got them all from there.

I will look out for that one.

Happy Friday friends
I was going to get stuck into the NZ Pales tonight, but I’d a very long and procedure heavy day, punctuated with a lava hot chilli chicken dish in the hospital canteen (private sector so top notch food).
So I’m going with a big rich Druro instead, it’s loaded with dark fruit, chocolate and notes of cedar, like a Cru Bordeaux but at 1/4 of the price. It’s great.

Fairly generic larger, served ice cold and just right with Katsu Curry.


Yonder Salad Days
Nice enough IPA not sure if it really justified its £6.25 price tag but an improvement on the last theatre I was at which was wanting £8 for Budweiser (and not the Czech kind).
