I’ve also brewed beer with muscovado thinking it would add interesting notes of molasses and I also didn’t like it.

That's good to hear, I'll let these bottles sit for a while more before I make a final judgment. I might crack open a bottle of the date syrup batch, I suspect that one will be different than the molasses based ones.

And last one for the night the Landlord attempt. Quite bready and malty with some herbal and spicy hops. It's been so long since I have had a landlord I am not sure if it's similar.

Last night in Aberdeen,

Marathon mousse by fierce beer and amazingly thick luxurious stout for 4.5%

Then a yonder beer which actually tasted very muffiny🤪

Then brewdogs stunt double which was a solid beer.

Followed by guest beer closing time which was bizarre as it tasted like my Hoppy new beer '23 but I paid £5.50 to drink something the same as my own beer. 🙄

Finally, Brewdogs night hawk. A great mid range impy. Would have had another but had to do a big drive the following day.

Tuesday night in thurso premier bin. To be fair it's brand new and the room spec is much improved from their more established locations, though no shaver socket in bathroom to charge electric toothbrush 🤔 Enjoyed vault city, a Hoppy new beer 23 and an extra risky business. A portable fridge is highly recommended for those beer wilderness locations which thurso is. I did pick up some Cairngorm brewery beers in thurso co-op but they wouldn't chill in time.

Where did you manage to bag that?
At the liquor superstore in Denver, it was also only $8.99 for a 4 pack. We get some odd varieties in the import section. I would assume from the big ones buying out smaller breweries and extending their distribution capabilities. I think this one is a millercoors company.

Started with a no alcohol pale from Good Karma Brewing. Nice little warm up before the football starts.

I’m sure there is no point where a home brewer will say “I think I have enough kegs now”.

Yes, I bought a secondary regulator a few months ago so my Bitters could be carbed lower and I’m so pleased that I did.
Absolutely! This is one of my secondaries but I set the pressure at 6psi to speed up carbonation and it’s time to dial back a little. I’d quite like a secondary for each keg 😉
