Porter next. Just black - but I think it’s clear. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Flavour is…yep, coffee and chocolate.

Kicking off tonight - actually I’m not, I had a couple of pints of Sussex Best at the pub. Continuing with a glass of butterfly effect. It’s nice and hoppy, and is pretty clear but with a touch of chill haze. Flavour is not bad but is still a little green from the keg hop addition, it needs a few days longer conditioning.

Out of my Tiny Rebel blending box, this Peach Iced Tea IPA. You really do get the tea and it's very peachy. Very nice and just a hint of bitterness.

Just doing a quality check on Kolsch. Trouble is I have no idea what it should taste like. It tastes alright to me.

No I haven’t. I only ever attempted to reproduce one beer and it was awful.

My own Hoppy new beer '23, I was prepared for a few poor beer places on our trip to Scotland. (So have stocked up our portable fridge with my own stash) Holiday Inn express in Leicester tonight for example. Tomorrow will be better, Durham awaits
