Made an instant sour, the bud pils with some kombucha. It's been a while since I have done my fast and sloppy souring method.

Usual suspect IPA, I am past the American style beers, give me a beer with an earthy hop, and lots of them. Let me know I have had a drink! Viva la Pommie beers.

I was absent on the forum last night because I was at homebrew club tasting some very nice beers with a bunch of very nice lads (one missing in action through some kind of electrical storm at home ).

Anyway, back again tonight and starting with the first pint out my new keg of Best Bitter. It tastes very fresh, beautiful!

By the time I finish this post I’ll be pretty much through this pint. I knew it! Off to get another…

One tin kit with DR enhancer. I actually brewed this 9 months and racked to corny keg. Ended up bottling a few from keg and I found them whilst sorting my bottles.

Aroma and hop hit have dropped slightly as expected but what a great drink. Caramel from malt extract has balanced it out.

Had a Tribute on cask yesterday, very nice much better than canned, not as high ABV but better for it I think.

Another first, the first pint from a new keg of IPA. Very cold, well carbonated, nicely aromatic, lacking a little in the hop flavour department. It’s still nice but not as punchy as I would like, maybe the flavour will come through more as it warms a little.

This one is by brew by numbers, yonder, staggeringly good - South. Pavlova pastry sour.

Nice enough but the massive balls of yeast that came out is pretty off putting.
