Hazy lemon fool. Brewed on 1st Apr using lemon drop hops for the first time. A hazy session pale… needs more carbonation and is a little inlacking in aroma, I don’t really get any lemon but there is smth there I like, just not very pronounced. The colour has changed quite a bit as it was really creamy looking with a foamy head that looked almost like meringue. Nice though

It all started when I went to finish off the last three ventilation holes, moved the CO2 cylinder and covered it up to reduce dust.

Being smart (?) I turned the CO2 regulator down to zero and completed the work before wandering into the house to watch the snooker.

Three hours later I felt guilty and took a duster out to the shed where I discovered I had moved the CO2 regulator to maximum! I discovered this when I poured myself a pint of foam!

I drank enough to bring the pressure down to 10psi and what is left is pictured!

In true “after the horse has bolted” style I have now written “Decrease = Anti-clockwise” on the shed wall.
:hat:

Home from hols. First taste of my first brew of Old Gold Wolf. I'm hoping to develop this into a house 'pale' ale. Kegged just before going away and first impressions are really promising. Wife even asked for a glass of her own. Multiple malts trying for an old gold colour, single hopped with Styrian Wolf.

looks kind of like a pint of dopey **** ?
Your not far wrong. It's a pint of dopey that is now brewed by rough brother's. The red ale is a nice pint, the IPA wasn't bad either. Both ran out it was that busy
