It doesn't taste strong at all, I suppose that was the problem. All in the name of research.View attachment 62304
Back in Wetherspoons, thought I'd try something different. Big mistake, off to bed for a power nap, god that goes down well but very strong.View attachment 62304
Nice glass, didn't know there was such a thing as Grolsch WeizenHad to pop in the local shops to pick up a couple of bits. Saw this and fancied a bottle. I also fancied a couple of other things that might make an appearance.

It's surprising how little hop taste there is in a lot of the classic ales. Just had a bottle of Hopping Hare from Badger, from the name you would expect a lot of hops but it was almost undectable and pretty bland honestlynice and hoppy by English standards
I bought a job lot of those at Christmas as they were only £2 with Clubcard and my daughters discount. Bloody nice beer.Another of the bottles I picked up at Waitrose. 75cl is not bad for a little over £3.
