Been out for a swordfish curry and a couple of Cobras, now for a Munich Helles from @Alastair70
Gone down very well. Malt, hops and yeast nicely balanced.

No.2 from @Jim Brewster, a saison. It’s a belter. Great hiss on opening the bottle, carbonation level is spot on. It’s fruity and spicy at the same time, washes off the palate really quickly with a dry finish that keeps you going back for more. I’d happily do a days toil in the fields for a couple of pint of this! Another great brew Jim, the bar has been set high, hope my efforts hold up 😄

Northern Monk & Lervig - Norse Star III. A Black Forest Imperial Stout. For a £4 supermarket (Morrison) beer this is astounding.

Goes in a number 3 of my top supermarket beers. At number 1 is Vocation - Imperial Kirsch and number 2 is Vocation & Lervig - Norse Star II (vanilla, cacao, & hazelnut).

On my second Grey Sheep. very pleased with this, is looks so nice, I think I could tone the carbonation down a fraction more, but that's no biggie. I took a pic, but it was so rubbish that I'm not going to post it! :D It's not the best beer I've ever drunk, but this time I think I've managed to brew a bitter that hasn't got that 'muddiness' of flavour, if you know what I mean, and has the required clean taste. But I'm going to try it again with a liquid yeast, to see if that brings further improvement/complexity. In fact, the yeast is already sitting in my fridge, :D so probably in the next week or two.

International Dark Lager, inspired by 'Dixie Vodoo Lager' (had it in New Orleans).
Quite happy how it turned out.
Used Wicklow Hops Company Helles Yeast.
