Ha! I sat under my big tree today..Mrs Clint was in her hammock. Peace and quiet..the kids have gone roaming..the youngest was up 7:30 and went with his mates to Prestatyn on the train!

Picked up random selection from local store. This Tomos Watkin's Blodwen's Beer, a blonde ale, looks great but fails to deliver. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter and tastes of diacetyl. 3/10.

Chose the hottest day of the year so far to make my 5 points Best Bitter. Wish I'd had a bit more sense, but I'd already revitalised my yeast culture once. Anyway, it's happily in the fridge and I'm supping cider!
