Heard my neighbour over the fence talk about Guinness - what was I to do :confused.:

Following it up with a BIPA and a cheese & pickle sandwich.

Anyone else age a couple of bottles of BIPA. This is totally different to the original but really nice all the same
Yo leon, yes but only because I always keep a few to one side to see how they age. The hops die but the darkness of the beer steps up to fill in the gap.

“Chemist” American gin and tonic with blueberries and a slice of lime … and I’m afraid to say I just love this shade of pink (yes I know sometimes I do give way to stereotypes☺). Lots of driving today and just enjoying a bit of quiet this evening x

No stereo typical judgement going on here. Did you know that pink was a man's colour and blue a female colour. Nurses uniforms in pale blue are a historical thing. Not sure when the pink/blue thing flipped but it happened in the last 200 years sometime. Me I now love turquoise and orange but hated in in my teens preferring red or grey. All I know now it's hard to brew a grey or turquoise beer so thats a 1-1 draw.

I last had this quite young and I really wasn't sure about it and I've considered bottling or ditching it to free the keg up. However after 8 weeks sat in the keg at room temp by the beer cupboard door until I put in the keezer and hooked it up last night. Its very different to my other beers but I like it. A very malt forward beer with underlying liquorice and raisin coming through, its got a westmalle vibe to it but not quite what I was aiming for but I'm enjoying it so far.

Have you reached stage 2…?

Maybe a blend of 2 and 4! 😂

[Edit] If I try to regard this as science (! 😂 ) I briefly pass through stage 1 (chatty and “knowledgeable”) and immediately skip to stage 5 where you’ll find me dancing around the garden oblivious to everyone else!
