More Summer Breeze.

It’s 26.4 degrees here at the moment and is forecast to be another 5 degrees warmer tomorrow. I’m coping today but I may need the ice-cold Pilsner tomorrow. Anyone got higher temperatures?

Depending on accuracy of thermometer we are sitting at 31.5 - 32°C currently. Absolutely brutal.

Done another bit if weeding and think that's me for the day. Another one, really lovely !

Allotment watered. Now it's my turn.

I got a text from NI Water to say that water use is our area was high and to reduce usage or risk interruption in supply. This was almost just as I turned my sprinkler on to water the fruit and veg. Feeling a bit worried that there's cameras somewhere now

Went to the fridge for a beer and found only stouts and a mix of Belgian Tripples and quads none under 8% so settled on an old crafty hen at least at 6.5% I can manage some more after it. Not exactly sun beer though ah well at least it’s not 40% rum @Mrhandsome

I'm back to work on Monday so will have to wear shorts and show off the 2 white milk bottles. Don't think I could stand long trousers and big boots all day !!

Just heard in the 5pm BBC radio 2 that it was the hottest day recorded in northern Ireland. What I heard was it was somewhere in county down called balkywaticock. Never heard of it and I'm assuming I misheard

I'm a gardener but all sort of insects seem to like my blood and I end up in an itchy blotchy mess with uncovered skin.
