I love a drop of Thatcher's Bitter. Straight from Sandford, N. Somerset, I understand.Well after a hectic 2 days of stripping fence panels off I deserve this bitter View attachment 49733 :small
That looks lovely. I prefer Erdinger glasses for all styles, too. Had to buy some from Amazon as I haven't found anywhere over here I can nick them from.First proper taste of my ESB (the first time was a little too early and I was pished). A very nice simple beer, just as a bitter should be. Maybe could do with a little more caramel sweetness but other than that I'm pretty happy with it

I do love this glass but it rarely gets an outing due to my fear of knocking it over! Always my go to when I'm having a wheat beer thoughThat looks lovely. I prefer Erdinger glasses for all styles, too. Had to buy some from Amazon as I haven't found anywhere over here I can nick them from.

Perfect caravan lunch. The chilli jam from m&s is perfect with the BrieI would say it's one of the best beers I've drunk in a long time.
All my favourite glasses apart from my two pint-size Erdingers have broken over the years: pisssed in charge of the washing up, dog's waggy tail, pisssed in charge of putting up the parasol, etc, etc. So bit the bullet and ordered a half dozen box from Amazon for €24. They're 500ml and exactly the same size as the pints, but the measure line is slightly lower.I do love this glass but it rarely gets an outing due to my fear of knocking it over! Always my go to when I'm having a wheat beer though
