Just got back from a day out taking our young grandson to see some model railways. He loves trains of all sizes and we saw some very impressive setups today. On the return journey we called into a carvery (very nice) and popped into Tesco to stock up on some favourites, this is the one I’m starting with.

Trying this next for the first time

Quite possibly the last glass from my keg of "Out in the fields" Saison. Crystal clear, dry, smooth and very drinkable at 7%. I'm surprised it lasted until now

Kinnegar is brewed in Donegal. Consistently high standard not sure if you can get it over the water

I'm an late arrival to kinnegar even though I live on the same Island but they seem to be stocked more widely lately. Rustbucket and scraggy bay are excellent !

I grabbed a couple from a bottle shop on recommendations from here. I had a Rustbucket and White Rabbit (or whatever the session IPA is). I was a little disappointed. They were solid but perhaps my expectations had been built up by the rave reviews here. Or perhaps they don't travel well to the NE of England
