On Thursday I lost this fantastic beast. Nearly 13 years a loyal friend and companion. Knocked down she crawled to the front door and died. Such a sad day. Loosing a dog after that long is like loosing a family member.
Take the dog to your bed never mind the garage.

Morning, didnt get round to posting the saison I had last night from @Hazelwood Brewery . Very enjoyable easy drinking Saison. Plenty of carbonation, nice and clear with a persistent fluffy head. Nice a crisp with good level of bitterness. Mentioned on the label it had some orange peel, wasn't noticeable to me which I suppose is a good thing as it did have a citrus vibe without being obvious that it had a peel addition. Good job :hat:

Morning peeps.... Been very busy converting my own camper, all my internet time is taken up with YouTube videos etc 😅 anyway I was wondering if anyone I can DM that knows about leisure batteries? A half of my Winter Wheat (Weissbier) I tried this yesterday and while nice thought it was a little under carbed so turned the pressure on the mini keg up to 25PSI and left over night. It is now substantially more carbed, which gives the beer a certain bite which cuts through the banana nicely.

At 4% it is a bit light on the alcohol and in body a nice summer beer but I think it would be improved by upping the grain bill a bit and getting something a tad more substantial, my previous Weissbier was the Greg Hughes recipe and came in at 5.5% and just had more too it, still when the weather heats up I could see this as a very nice beer to have in the garden after work so may well keep it as it is.
 
Today’s warm up is curtesy of @dave_77 and his Belgian Pale at 4.6%

You can see the ale is well carbonated, golden in colour, and crystal clear. The nice fluffy white head stuck around to the end.

The aroma is quite familiar. There’s a citrus aroma, some spice, and to me there’s a hint of white wine. I’m not really getting Belgian esters but the beer is cold. The aroma is actually reminiscent of my Goofie Saison flavoured with orange peel and Nelson Sauvin hops though I see from the label this beer has Cashmere and EKG. What do I know? Not much it seems 😂

The flavour also reminds me of my Goofie Saison and definitely has spice, citrus, a hint of white wine and something a little woody - puts me in mind of joss sticks but in a good way!

It’s another nice clean enjoyable ale Dave and again one I’d be happy to drink all afternoon if I had another half dozen. Thanks very much.

Just before signing off, what yeast did you use with this?
