Was a bit nervous how this turned out as I decided to brew it on coming back from the pub (not the best of ideas boiling liquids and intoxicating beverages) however I got through the brew unharmed and the beer turned out well lovely and refreshing.

Been drinking my Punk IPA based beer for a while and I’ve now hit the point where the beer munchies has seriously started to kick in.

Got a spicy beef chilli on the go and a crusty sourdough baguette to go with it - lashings of butter of course! Mmmmm!

Marston's Empire. It's ok. Strange hop combo EKG, Fuggles and Cascade. I would never pair cascade with those two.

It's just a bit meh, not bitter enough, no real aroma, its drinkable but not one I'd reach for first.

Another nice cocktail (of many!) is Amaretto sour - one part lemon juice, one part sugar syrup, two parts Amaretto. Shake to destruction with ice. Mmmm!
