Saw my daughter testerday and she has bought myself and my better half a brewery tour voucher for Sadlers brewery in Stourbridge (near me).

Also included is lunch.

Now I'm a happy bunny and looking forward to this.

I may even take one of my beers and get the head brewer to sample it.

Hopefully we're going this Friday.

The missus doesn't like beer and each voucher entitles you to 2 pints at lunchtime and 2 pints total to sample.


Erm......... Looks like I'm having 8 pints Friday afternoon! Hahahaha :

Wow that's a great deal if you get 4 pints each too! The ones I've been on usually do halves!

£15 per voucher so a real bargain.

I'm going to try to get a recipe or 2 out of them if I can.

Well, no photos but a fantastic day was had.

Very interesting to see that the brewery makes the beer just like me but on a bigger scale.

Had some samples and took one of my Citra Ales for the head brewer to try.

He told me it tasted just like their Sadler's JPA (made with 100% citra) so I was very happy to hear that.

A great lunch with a pint of Thin Ice, Hop Bomb and my favourite Mellow Yellow.

Every beer they brew is made with S04 surprisingly so guess what I'll be using in future?
