Had nice wee day out in Glasgow yesterday.I was hoping to go on a tour of the WEST brewary at Glasgow green, unfortunatly they only do tours at the weekend so i had to settle for parking my bum in their bar and trying some(all) of their beers. They do a standered lager 4%,a european style lager 5% i think,a hefweizen and a ruby red ale.I must say everyone was a cracking beer especially the hefweizen and at an average of£3.50 i think a very good price compared to other city centre pubs (£4.95 for a pint of blue moon in another pub).
So if anybody lives near Glasgow i would highly recommend paying them a visit and sampling some of their fine beers.

I love it there. Great German food and fantastic German beers. My personnel favourite is there Dunkel followed by there Munich Red. They also brew a beer for the Barrowlands that you can only get there (still need to try that on!)

There were rumours of them taking over the Halt bar on woodlands road. Need to find out who is in charge of it now.
