i have done a experiment with my single coil cooler
in an hour it uses full pelt
uses 540 litres per hour
so 9 litres a minute
so my coil at the moment cools to 40 to 45 mins depending on the temp out side
so i use
405 litres or so
every minute saved cooling saves 9 litres or there about of water
so anyone on a water meter my benefit if using coolers to upgrade too
but i haven't done the maths on [price of copper pipe to water cost ratios]
i am not on a meter but reckon 405 litres is pretty high use of water minus the washing up water recycling the water etc
so i am upgrading to a twin coil cooler
