Was this a bargain or not?

I've been watching these 25l kegs on ebay for a while as they were auctioned twice. In the end, I decided not to bid because something didn't feel quite right. So bargain or the century or rip-off?

Since they were from a party they should have been returned to the supplier. Keg watch would probably be interested in them.

I think (not 100% sure) you can get them new for not much more
