Lots of people use Videne but it is not certified as safe for use with food preparation. There are lots of post from people who say that the risk is so small that it is negligable and that the chemical makeup is the same as some licenced products.

However, I am cautious and have been using I/O Star, which is the Starsan version of Iodophor. Some of the homebrew shops sell this, I got mine from "The Home Brew Shop". It was about 10 quid for 16oz but you use such a small amount this is bearable.
