I'm not the gamer i used to be.. infact i barely play my 360 and dont play pc games anymore, but i'm REALLY looking forward to Fable 2 for the 360 that's gunna land on my doorstep this friday

you guys probably wont see me much on here for a few weeks

Diablo 3 is high on my list when it comes out next year... only waited 6 years for it so far!!!!

any of you guys gamers?

Not really . . . . . . Although I have been slowly working my way through the Splinter cell games (PC) for a while . . . Not finished Chaos Theory yet, but have just bought Double Agent . . . just to keep the collection going

My bordom threshold for games is so low it's probably not measurable
I have to admit though that I did spend half an hour on a Wii box and was only slightly bored probably because my brother in law was wiping the floor with me

i bought my ex a wii with wiisports.

it was fun for about 30 mins, until i started sweating and breathing heavy (insert pun here  ) but IMO my idea of a video game is something to wind down and relax to  not get all worked up and hot and sweaty ! wii's just wont let you do that, infact you cant even sit down for having to wave your arms around hehehe

i used to love high octane FPS (first person shooters) and played the doom series back on the old 486 DX266... and then came Quake 1 :D i was so sad i never left my bedroom (i was in my tweens) ... one of the very few that used the mouse to look i used to wipe the floor and actually won a quakeworld online international championship with a 28.8 modem!!!. not something i'm proud of though

but i cant stand how EVERYONE is doing FPS games... all of them the same. i played Halo 3 on my 360 for about an hour then never went back.

i guess i'm getting old... i much prefer the games that are relaxing and dont raise my heartbeat, and that are ok to save and put down at any point, but offer good escapism... so right at the top of my list is RPG's like Oblivion and obviously the Fable and Diablo series. i am partial to the occasional RTS (real time strategy) or GOD game but only if it's medieval based and done with accuracy... i'm looking for a medieval settlement type game actually that lets you build cities, manage farms food and commerce, but doesnt focus too much on warfare, if anyones got any tips?

Fable 2 just landed on my desk!!!!!! a day before it's in the shops

sorry guys, you wont see me for a looooooooong time (hears faint cheers in the distance)

I'm not a big gamer but I love the GTA series. In fact I bought a PS2 simply for San Andreas. I'm just waiting for the PS3 to come down in price so I can play GTA4.

I've got a 360 but rarely get time to play it. Halo 3 is a blast online though, I'm not a fan of FPS's on single player but multiplayer is great fun when you've got some mates on. I remember the days of playing quake online with a dial up modem too.

Love the GTA series but didnt really care for the latest one. Best game ever? Deus Ex on the PC (the first one). It's rare that you get a game that pays so much attention to depth of characterisation, story, writing & atmosphere. Still plays well today and you can probably get it for a fiver.

Fable 2 looks good, I played the original one on the xbox, I reckon the Molyneux games are waay overhyped though.

i've never been dissapointed by a Molyneux game and i've got every single one!

according to the reviews knocking around, every feature promised by molyneux is in Fable 2. fortunately they didnt bend to Microsoft pushing them to get it out the door as much as most developers.

i read that they managed to get the online co-op patch out before it got released!! even though they said it'd be a week before it comes. well chuffed that i'll be able to coop with my mate straight away

I was up until 2:30am this morning (i lost track of time) so i feel a bit knackered as i had to get up at 7am

i'm well impressed with Fable 2! it's really well polished. the special effects (lighting etc) are flawless, and the only glitch i came across in the several hours of play was my dog's collision detection went a bit skitso on a strangely shaped bit of terrain (which was understandable).

I wont bore you with the details, but PM's definitely not overhyped this one! its every bit as described!
