Hi all, I've got my next batch of beer to brew (cooper's wheat beer). I've bought 500g of spray malt to ferment with and I know it needs another 300g of sugar too. My question is though, is it okay to just substitute the 300g of sugar for 300g of honey?

How would this effect the taste and would I need to use more than 300g of honey as there isn't as much sugar in it as pure sugar obviously? Or is there....

Dan :)

I can only go off the one attempt I did with a wheat beer, I substituted like for the 2nd phase with honey and it is a little too fizzy. I haven't done a second batch with less to see what difference it makes bit you could tell the difference in the flavour
