Using a Hop Spider

I can only recall BM pump getting blocked with fermentation., and even then it clears.
Seriously never been a problem.
Apart from the time doughed in, closed the malt tube up, pressed start and nothing happened. Then I saw the impeller stuck to the wall in front of me. Oops

I will find it and repost.

Did you post the mod on Braumeister forum under the name “Mashy”?

I do use a hop spider for every brew, I will also give it a few dips, stirs and scrapes to make sure wort flows through.

I just bought this kegland one and am very happy with it. The tapered design fits perfect in my braumeister too.

I have similar .. the mangrove jack 800 micron. I bounce mine a bit to and I think the MJ has bigger holes. The coffee one are good for dry hopping.
