Done a few teaks and not brewed in a few months and found my camera so decided to plaster ciber space with photos.

My newly built hop striner out of an off cut of perf stainless was concerned about the size but it was really good.

A peak inside.

Looks great, especially the hop filter, HERMS kettle.......... And that fermenter is soooooooo sexy!! :thumb:

Just brilliant, your use of a kettle is ingenious. nice setup indeed.
I would consider a larger surface area for the hop filter however if you are using pellet, the run off could be slow.

Great looking setup, :thumb: :thumb:

I love the fittings on the Pump :ugeek:

And the Blichmann conical say's to me you must have bull sh**ted the SWMBO good style to get that in the house :D :D

Looking very good. I know those pumps are the little 12v ones but what transformers have you got on them and can you control the flow going through them, if so how? I am looking to use them as they are a hell of a lot cheaper than two march may pumps.

i have an old 12v dc 1amp transformer, it will hopefully power two (as i need another) or I could use an old monitor psu that's rated at 4amps. I throttle it via the valves if necessary but the flow rate is slow at 6.5l/min

I like the use of the kettle as heat exchanger too. Lots of expensive plumbing there :thumb:
Careful throttling the pump, better to control with your voltage supply. I knackered mine running it throttled to 0.9L/min with full 12V and no balance valve. Eventually gave up after quite a few brews though so upgraded to a 240V job.
Nice neat work. :thumb:
