Why does SWMBO know how to switch a light on but doesn't know how to switch it off? Does anyone have any more of these?

Doors they open but don't close really does my head in in winter when you are trying to keep the room warm, i bet that'll change this winter with the fuel crisis.

This one is more about the kids. They finally leave the door open come October (you’ve been telling them all summer) and then they get into the habit of closing the doors come May (you’ve been nagging them throughout the winter).
