Hi, I'm a newbie as they say!! My first Lager brew has finished the formenting stage and now im ready to bottle up. It says to use half a level tea spoon of sugar per pint of brew. What type of sugar should i use? Help. :?: :?:

welcome good luck with your brew remember to leave it alone now (may a few samples in a week or 2 ) the longer the better :thumb:

Some would argue that brewing sugar (dextrose) can provide a cleaner taste in some brews compared to regular white sugar...

But either will work...

for priming the effect sugar has as far as hang overs etc are nil because of the small amounts of sugar used plus high fermentation is more of an issue for that
