Dear All,

I have made 1 gallon turbo cider a few times with my own twists and variants. I'm always happy with the results.

Last weekend I decided to be a man and make 20 litters. It’s been going since 26th Jan (8 Days) and now has foam on the top. When it first fermented there was some foam, then as normal it backed off. Now it’s up again.

It smells very C02ish with a little of something else. Wouldn’t say it smelled off.

Is it all over and some bad stuff has got in?

Any advice as to what is going on? I think all my other batches have had nothing left on the top when bottling.
Thanks for any advice you can give!

Tom

Thanks for the reassurance; I'm sure it’s all in my head!
Just the normal "first big batch" nerves!

Yeah, cider can do that. You must not be doing it right!
