TST competition STYLES?

thinking about entering a stout at the spring thing,,,but been new to brewing i do not know styles?
after reading alot on here i decided to tinker with the kit.......HELP,,, :? :?

am i reading it wrong and the style is the kit ,lager,bitter stout ,?????

If that's the kit style then enter it as that. But look at the style sheet for the characteristics of the beer you are brewing. For the competition you just pick one style. You can do what you want to the kit, ie add DME, boil, add hops etc. It's up to you.
