After cooling I leave my kettle to settle while I clean my wort chiller,give my fv a last swill round with sanitiser,set it to drain and generally tidy up. When I start transfer I only just crack the tap to start a very low flow,this establishes a couple of holes in the trub over the bazooka. I then wait until the fv is drained,increasing the flow as required until it stops. Be sure to watch carefully as the last drainings can drag trub. I get very little carry over doing this.
