Driving home last night and realised I needed fuel, but as I was late I would fill up in the morning on the way to w*rk. I didn't stop at the one at the top of the road but thought I would go on the Motorway to Asda next to w*rk.
Cued up for fuel, the only pump available was Pump 13. So I went to fill up but my fuel cap lock seemed to be frozen and bent my key :x :x . Anyway got the deicer out and tried to deice it, put the key back in and it SNAPPED
Luckily I had a spare key as I have been letting the van run for 10mins on the road and lock it with the spare key.
Anyway I went in the kiosk to say what had happened, then drove to w*rk to see the garage on the industrial estate I w*rk on. No one on the whole site was their. So I drove down the road to a local mechanics who pulled out the key :grin: :grin:.
So I went back filled up at Pump 13 again, and went to pay. The woman who I had spoken to before asked how I had got on so I explained. She then Said £51.20 for Unleaded, my vans Deisel, Then she burst out laughing, and I got the joke. Luckily I did see the funny side.
Now I wasn't worried about being stuck at work, I could always get the Bus And Tram home. I wasn't too concerned with not being able to carry SWMBO presents home (which were in the Van) She would just have to lump it, I was most concerned that all my Christmas HB is at w*rk.
Anyway alls well that ends well, I should get home alright now...... I hope :pray: :pray: :pray: :pray:
