Yesterday (Saturday) I drove to the wildly beautiful Dengie Peninsular to partake in the Wibblers open day. Well worth the trip, immaculate brewery and warm welcome. Nigel Sadler, the commercial manager was giving a very interesting talk on the history of beer to an attentive audience when I arrived. I collered him for a chat when everyone moved on, and he was kind enough to get me a beer sample as I am on sticks. The lady of the house got me a chair and I settled to try the free samples on offer. Truly excellent beers, unfortunately I was driving (and was recovering from a tummy upset the previous day) so my consumption was limited. The sales shop had a queue, so obviously the samples were going down well.!
I bought a set of beers which are sitting on the table waiting for my tummy to settle
A lovely day out, thanks Aleman for the tip. :thumb:

I was hoping to get there but couldn't make it in the end. Sounds like a good time.

Yes, that's why I bought them :thumb: I'm thinking I might put the Wobbly Croc away for a few years before supping.
