transferred my brew to my bucket absolutley fine the other day.. went to clean it only to find the pump was a dribble (it was fine upon transfer) even though I used the hop bags in my recipe.

Hopcat suggested blowing in my exit pipe.. (I know that sounds wrong) but I found even doing it dry and with water it didn't work

So I got my ball pump put that in with cold water and pumped it hard and it blew the water out almost like a fountain.. stream seems good now so hopefully no problems come brew day next time around.

I know its not exactly science but I hpoe something can help others

I use a hosepipe with standard water pressure to clean out my pump after use putting it down the exterior re-circ pipework which I thought should generally unblock anything as tap water pressure is quite strong not that I have ever had my pump block-I use a hop spider
