hi guys brought the tribute clone pack from brew uk,
but bottled it when it came to the yeast, always have just sprinkled it on top.
it seem to go well ,this was a biab method, got a sg 1052,
the yeast it came with was nottingham yeast that said re hydrate it,
so having never done this before, didnt want to ruin the beer,
i used wilkos beer yeast, dont think its going to be a dicaster .
how do you re hydrate yeast with out fuking it up.
thanks.

Ideally have the water at about 35°c and 10 times the weight of the yeast, so 110ml for an 11 gram pack. And just use water. No sugar, no wort. If you don't have a thermometer then don't guess - just use room temperature because if you go too high it'll kill the yeast.

Also Wilkinson's gervin yeast is Nottingham in disguise.
