transferring bottles to keg

So i have 40 bottles of wherry sat in the garage which are completely flat due to them not carbonating for some unknown reason. Is it possible to tfr to a keg and carbonate with co2 somehow? How much would this cost etc??
 
if you transfer into a keg you will still need yeast to condition the beer however if you have a corny you could transfer into that bright no yeast needed and then force carb with co2

That sounds promising. How much would it be to do this?? Would it be more like a draught carbonation than just fizzy??
 
i can't see how you will transfer from bottle to a keg without getting air into brew and ruining it , i would try moving bottles into a warm place for a couple of weeks , i have had this problem in the past and all was well in the end after i warmed em up for a while etc .
 
i would go with the chief- provided left in a warm place plus sugar-and are well sealed they will carbonate-esp if have a sediment-warm up give a wee mix and leave for 2 wks

unless looking for an excuse to go corny...in which case get the wallet out-was too dear for me
 
I too would be very nervous about ruining the beer from oxidisation.
Did you prime the bottles?
If no luck after you move them somewhere warm, I'd carefully pop them open, add a priming drop to each and re-cap.

I tried this with one bottle just to see - opened it put in a teaspoon of sugar and put in a warm place - this is still flat after a week. I am sure that the yeast must be dead.

After i transferred to secondary FV initially i put in the garage which was around 5 degrees, the beer completely settled out, then i bottled when it was still really cold - they were even in the airing cupboard to really warm up but this didnt work neither :sulk:
 
IDEA!! - just had a look at the bottles and they are all pretty much full to the brim with beer - there is no space for air / CO2.

So i have uncapped, poured some away and dropped in another carb drop and chucked em in the airing cupboard again - fingers crossed.
