Hi there,
I'm brewing ginger beer for the first time from a plant, I understand that it has to be fermented in plastic bottles to reduce risk of explosion, however, is it possible to transfer it into glass bottles after they have brewed for a couple of weeks?
Thanks

Yes ginger beer is fine to bottle in glass bottles, but make sure you've kept the fermenter somewhere warm and the hydrometer has gave consistent readings for a good week or so. This will ensure that everything that has fermented out that can and only the priming sugar (1/2tsp per 500ml bottle) can ferment to give the bit of fizz you want.
