Action man for me. Had the jeep, tank, jet and strangely enough a horse for action man. :D no idea what the horse came with ?

They banned us from using home made crossbows at school, they had parcel elastic bands as the spring and we used to fire pencils with them.
Happy days, no one injured or even slightly blinded.
That and the science teacher throwing Sodium into the lake whilst we were canoeing. It never exploded unless you could trap it under water with your paddle and that was hard to do.

I had Super flight deck one Christmas, best toy ever. It consisted of a plastic copy of an aircraft carrier, just the deck about an inch high and 18 inches long, that sat on the floor.
A fishing line which we attached to the window curtain hook in the kitchen and went through the open door to hall and to the front door.
A fighter jet was hung on the line, slid down the line and you had to land it on the deck with a stick control with the other end of the line onto the deck.
literally years of fun!

Imagine if you took one of those out onto the street now. ashock1

Forgot that one spent hours playing it - had to tweak the rules though as we were so bad at it.
When cheating, you would normally get your comeuppance for taking a big wind up and getting to hit it too hard with your finger 😭

Some fantastic toys so far, Jonny Seven, never did get one of those but wanted one. Subuteo, all the kids on the street used to go round each others houses and play in a league. Clackers, hmmmm yes I remember bruised knuckles well enough.
Here is one I had, Secret Sam Attache case
