Not sure if anyone else watches it but today was a classic.

Tom Pidcock At just 22 descending at 85k and Chris Froome coming 3rd as well after what he’s gone through is awesome.

Alpe d heuz is my 3rd favourite stage after Mont Ventoux and then obviously first was the ‘Tour de Yorkshire Grand Depart’ 😉

Yes, good day today.

I took my son up to my sister's in Leeds to watch the tour.
Couldn't get close enough to see along the headrow, but son was small enough to wriggle through to the front to see them go past.
Then we got train out to somewhere else along the route & watched them whizz past again.

I gave up mens final Wimbledon tickets to watch it by my parent's (had excellent views) as I’m guessing I’ll never see it again in the uk.
Saying that tickets for Wimbledon I think was about £175 each. As this was free win win

A great day!

Seen the TdF live a few times and my only niggle is that I wished Tom Pidcock hadn’t said the word “Unbelievable!” during his post-win interview!

His win was magnificent, but I well remember that when Pantani won a mountain stage a few critics said his win was “unbelievable”; but they meant something totally different to what Tom Pidcock said today!
:hat:

In cycling parlance, bloody big hat (chapeau) to Tom - that was some win.

This year's Tour has been great so far and I feel there are still some big twists and turns to come.
