Can this pump pump be used for the movement of wort? I have read the reviews by Vossy and checked the totton pages, Totton pumps It say's it's good for 85 degrees. It has been used for glycol so a good clean and sanatise is in order but want to run it past you lot before getting it!
:wha: :wha:

P.s I need a lesson on how to shorten url clickies!!!!

MD if you're gonna buy one of those you should consider talking to Norm (the corny king) you'll find him at the top right hand side of the page under links he sells scotsman pumps which are just rebadged totton gp20/12s but he's cheaper, i'm using them and so far had no problems except having to chuck the crappy quick disconnects that is supplied with them.

They are fine for brewing, but as V says the flow rate drops off significantly as the wort approaches 85C and above that it is negligible.
