to peel or not to peel?

gonna brew a ginger beer for xmas soon. Just wondering if you peel the ginger before grating it?

perfect! Just what i was after. So simple. Thanks mate, will get this on the go at the weekend ready for xmas. Thinking of doing cinnamon cider aswell. Any ideas on how to do this?

well its done. Got all the ingredients. Just need an empty fv now. Might have to wait a week for my lager to finish. How long will ginger keep for? It will be ok for a week or two, surely??? :pray:

It's keep till it goes BROWN :rofl:

Just keep it in the fridge and you should be fine.

i guess i still need to prime the bottles? Or is there enough sugar in the recipie to be considered as batch priming?

When you siphon it off the husks (wrong name but you know what I mean), you can add priming sugar then.
