So my 1st brew has been nicely bubbling for a week, the OG was 1045, its now dropped to 1010, its still bubbling a tiny bit, I'm not working Tues, Wed, then I'm working nights over the w/e, so should I keg it before my nights or after? Reckon it will drop a bit more gravity? Will it spoil if its kept in the FV too long? 100g of sugar and a bit of vaseline around the cap is that right? Never used kegs before it always used to bottles so any advice gladly accepted. Cheers, BB

it should be fine if you leave it a few more days, is it a plastic type keg? Not a corny im guessing? I never had much luck with my king keg so ill let somebody else advise you on what to do with that, i have cornys now and loving it.

if you can use gas bulbs i would fill it with water and gas it to test (many fill with brew to find it leaks a weak or so later when it's flat) and i would leave till after weekend so yeast has time to clean brew up .

Cheers guys, after the w/e it is then. I was just getting itchy. Thats a handy tip to try to test the seals, I'll give that a go, Thanks Pittsy
