Undoubtedly a fine example of German precision engineering, but will it make your beer any better. And if it did it would take all the fun out of brew day

Wow that is impressive :thumb:

Although I do love how in one of the pics it looks like he has a piece of wood holding up his roof...

But seriously, wow that must have cost a fortune in time and money to get that all put together...I wonder what the beer tastes like?

I don't think it's his roof being held up, but pushing the dispenser on his 5lt mini keg down. Obviously broken the catch on the side. Mine broke too.

One of the best brews I ever made was a stout - I took a 120 litre mango barrel, stuck a 3Kw immersion heater through the side, made a watery mash, and stirred it constantly with an electric drill driven paddle, and step mashed it a bit with a temperature gauge. Don't know why I've not repeated the process.

That was the hot side of the process, which is what we see in this fantastic German setup. I have to say, both Ghetto brewing, and high tech. brewing appeal to me equally - And of course they can equally make good beer - which is the important thing.

Someone's signature somewhere says "Making beer can be very simple - it its the job of the head brewer to make it as expensive and as complicated as possible" Or something similar.

Simon.

Absolute porn.

who cares if it doesn't make good beer, I could watch water run through that system all day.

then brew in a bucket in the shed...... Stunning combination of art and technology

Can I have one Dad.
