up near masham this week which would you say is the best value for money. from the two brewerys for their brewery tours. theakston is the£6.50. not sure how much b sheep is yet..

Been on the Black Sheep tour, not been on the Theakston. All I can say is that the Black Sheep was all about Paul Theakston and his yorkshire squares...Yawn!

I personally think that Theakston Best knocks Black Sheep for 6...
 
Theakston tour is a good un, make sure you get a taster platter in the pub afterwards (6 third pint glasses of various ales).
 
thanks for the replies guys. did not make the tour had a skin full the night before and could not even look at a pint before about nine pm.
will bear it in mind for next short break i have

Theakston tour was good when I went years back (before it was sold and subsequently sold again) - they had a cooperage and you could have a go at making a cask if you wanted to :D
Not sure what it is like now though - let us know :thumb:
