Not everyones cup of tea what with the zombies, gore & all. JUst watched the finale of season 3. If you can get past the blood & guts it's probably the best drama on TV at the moment. Anyone who saw the pilot of Revolution should watch this to see how good sci fi drama should be. Gets a bit slow mid season (2 & 3) but snaps back every time. Roll on season 4!

Brilliant TV show, one of the best we have seen!

Season 4 (2013–14)

It was announced on December 21, 2012 that The Walking Dead has been renewed for a fourth season.[9] Scott Gimple will replace Glen Mazzara as the series' showrunner for the season.[16] The season will premiere in October 2013 and consist of 16 episodes.[17] David Morrissey is set to reprise his major role as The Governor, despite an initial one-year contract.[18]

Really disappointed with this season. Easily the worst of the 3 so far. It is still better than most other TV at the moment though.
Now on to Game of Thrones :)

Agree on al counts, bit disappointed with the end of the series, the Guvnor, could of been badder, having read the Comic, I mean 'Graphic Novels' I was disappointed with the ending, the comic was a lot more explosive (Attempting to add no spoilers, just in case).

Saw Revolution advertised and thought, mmm looks like a sci fi walking dead.

And Game of Thrones, gotta love the dwarf

It certainly picked itself up from he beginning of series 2. I'm looking forward to the final episodes of Breaking Bad which should be airing soon because unlike Game Of Thrones, I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen next.

With you on that Paul- June 4th for DVD release-can't wait. AMC again.

Sorry, do you mean that series 5 of Breaking Bad recommences on DVD in June?
There have already been about 8 or so episodes aired and the producers chose to take a long break in the middle of the season right at a critical cliffhanger. Bastards. :)

The first episode of Game of Thrones season 3 was epic.
I hope they can maintain the momentum for the whole season.

I really need to catch up with Breaking Bad.

They must be releasing that Breaking Bad DVD as a 5, and then later a 5.5

Episode 9 of season 5 isn't due I would guess until July/August, which would make the June release of the first 8 episodes good 'marketing'

Still want to know how it all ties together with those early moments of episode 1 season 5, when Walt is celebrating his birthday in the diner

Season 5 -- 16 episodes -- July 15, 2012 to Summer 2013 -- FINAL SEASON
======================================================

Breaking Bad was renewed for a fifth and final season consisting of 16 episodes. The season will be split into two parts, each consisting of 8 episodes. The first half will premiere on July 15, 2012, with the second half premiering in summer 2013

Possible feature film -- Bryan Cranston has hinted that the series may continue after the season 5 finale, stating "Vince (Gilligan) feels that now we have too much story. We could actually go beyond those 16 episodes. It's not far-fetched. I wouldn't mind visiting that possibility. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't know anything of how the show's going to end. If it doesn't end up in a total apocalypse, who knows? Maybe we could revisit Walter White a year down the road and see where his life has gone. If he's still alive, that is."

The problem is always the same

They try to string it out and it gets too corny. I remember when Prison Break started it was brilliant, a good plot, no bad language and riveting.

By series 3 it was a predictable yawn and ruined.

Not seen the second half of the 3rd season yet as I refuse to pay for Sky lol but looking forward to it. I much prefer the graphic novels though, they're much darker. The spin off novels "The rise of the governor" and "The road to Woodbury" are well worth a read for any fans of the series.
Just working my way through the Preacher books by Garth Ennis at the moment

Been a huge fan of the walking dead since it began. but i must admit i was disappointing with the finale it didn't really leave me on a cliff....

yes what happened was a little cliff but i have not felt like there was something missing like i have with the other two.

Revolution looks good as well how ever it does look like someone too the walking dead and took the gore out but i will defiantly be giving that just as much attention as he walking dead.

| won't be-this series (having watched the first 2 episodes) may make Terra Nova look like a masterpiece in comparison.

Sounds like it's worth a watch. I'm always looking for something new to watch.

Will download the 1st season and see how I get on.

Game of thrones... general consensus good then?

The first season was only 8 or so episodes. I was hooked after the scenes with the horse & the tank (no spoilers here!). It's not a happy, feelgood show-it's dark, bleak drama. If I was to be critical of it (I am a big fan) the pace slows towards mid season (both 2 & 3) & a few scenes will feel familiar if you have watched 28 days later or The Road. But as I said the pace soon picks up again.

Got Game of Thrones sitting here to watch when I get round to it-only heard good things about that as well.

Sounds like my kind of thing. I'm not a rainbows, puppies, will she/won't she show lover :D

Easily THE highest quality TV series around at the moment.
Each episode is of movie quality. Some great actors, scenery plus violence and nudity as befits the setting.

From the reviews I'll probably skip Revolution. It sounds like a 'hollywoodised' disaster. Shame on J.J. Abrams but I guess it was made for a wider audience but it is great to see adult oriented content coming out of the states.
