Today, I abandoned the lesson plan to take advantage of an opportunity and took my class outside to watch a horse being castrated! The size of a horses b***ocks are something to behold!! Each one a full handful! One lad (supposedly hard as nails!) couldn't bear to watch! I, on the other hand, found it massively interesting! Jokes about John Wayne and crushed nuts for the rest of the day!

Gotta love being a teacher on a farm! Definately beats having a "proper" job!

p.s. the female Vet was also rather easy on the eye! :thumb:

It's that Crunching sound that gets to me (Why is there no 'wince' smiley when you need one :D )

passes out.........................

Will they be using them Im a Celebrity get me a propper job (celebrity in the loosest sence of the word)

Im watching it at the moment but only for 2 reasons ;)

Crunching sound?

OMG...
(as I believe the young people say... :wha: )

and why have I now got my legs crossed? :hmm:

apparently it doesn't hurt much......

if you keep your fingers out of the way of the 2 bricks

Ha the old ones are the best.

made an incredible crunching sound - the tool they used can best be described as stainless steel tree pruners!! Have to say I found it very interesting to watch, although not as interesting as the vets bum!! ;) :thumb:

Now I want to know the reaction of the horse. Did it run 3 miles in 20 seconds or was it anaesthetised to the point of disinterest?

I've seen a neutered dog a few days afterwards. The look on his face was a mixture of surprise and consternation. He knew what was there before and he was at a loss to work out why it wasn't there anymore.
